Extensive Chiropractic Consultation

Dr. Joshua B Hanisch was born and raised in Iowa. After high school, he attended Kirkwood Community College and started working in the construction industry pouring concrete. In 1999, Dr Hanisch joined the Marine Corp looking for direction and discipline. He proudly served our country until 2004 and served in Iraq from 2002 to 2004.
After his return to the US, Dr. Hanisch found his back to be extremely painful. After some research, he visited a chiropractor. Dr. Hanisch stated, “I could not believe how much better I felt." The pain relief led him to go back to school to obtain his associates degree in 2006. Later that year, he started at Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA.
During his schooling, Dr. Hanisch was the Class President every year and a clinical teaching assistant. As he continued his education for chiropractic, Dr. Hanisch also studied for his BS degree. He received his BS and Chiropractic degree on the same day in 2010. He was awarded one of the highest honors, the Clinical Excellence Award, by a board of doctors at Palmer. Dr Hanisch also graduated from Palmer at the top of his class out of 160 students.
In 2012, Dr. Hanisch chose to start his practice in Des Moines in the Beaverdale area. His mission is to help people find relief from back and neck pain through chiropractic care, just like he received when he returned from Iraq.
